Hernando Police Department's Bike Patrol

The Bike Patrol Officers routine the local businesses where traffic is heavy and they can maneuver easier on bikes. They also patrol our neighborhoods with the advantage of being able to have to more personal contact with our citizens and our youth’s of the City of Hernando. The Bike Patrol is also responsible for some of the traffic duties during special events along with patrolling within the pedestrians to keep a safer environment.
